Don’t Say You Weren’t Warned

I hate to say I told you so, but… If you missed last night’s Lightning/Bruins game, you missed an awesome battle. Even with the Reds playing the Cubs and an NBA playoff game occurring at the same time, I couldn’t change the channel. The action was that fast and furious.

The game began with the Lightning lighting the lamp just 13 seconds into the contest. It ended with Tim Thomas and the Bruins withstanding a furious Tampa 6 on 5 attack. In between, both teams skated aggressively and exchanged attacks.

There’s quickly no love lost between these two squads. Tampa attacked goaltender Tim Thomas unmercifully with sticks and pucks while Boston dished out some of the most ferocious checking I’ve ever seen.

This is going to be an awesome series. I hope it goes seven games. The action between the two is just that good. The two renew hostilities Thursday night at the Forum in St. Pete. Make an appointment to see it. You’ll be glad you did.
